The British Standard

At Strossmayer 6 in Sarajevo, AROS hosted The British Standard, an evening dedicated to British textile heritage, and modern luxury tailoring.

The British Standard

Created by AROS founder Armin Osmančević in partnership with British Embassy Sarajevo, the event presented an exclusive collection of jackets and suits made from fabrics by Dugdale Bros & Co and woven in the United Kingdom.

More than a classic fashion event, the evening brought together ambassadors, business leaders, international institutions, and media in a setting focused on craftsmanship, trade, and culture. Guests experienced the AROS LUX tailoring showcase, highlighting precision, construction, and timeless elegance.

The atmosphere was completed by a vintage 1986 Rolls-Royce displayed in front of the store, reflecting the spirit of enduring British luxury.

Selected partners elevated the experience throughout the evening. High-end goodie bags included Burberry perfumes provided by Orbico, while the food experience was curated by celebrity chef Nihad Mameledžija in collaboration with Perutnina Ptuj. Premium coffee was served by Franck Experience Store, while cocktails and drinks were prepared by Tapas Bar & Restaurant.

Guests also had the opportunity to explore the full fabric collections and book private made-to-measure appointments directly during the event.

For one evening, Sarajevo became a meeting point of British standards and Bosnian entrepreneurial energy — proving that the city can hold a meaningful place within the global luxury landscape.
